Take a municipal bus to the closest metro station "Moskovskaya", destination - metro station "Nevsky Prospect".
2. From the train-station:
Go to the closest metro station (all train stations are above metro stations), destination - metro station "Nevsky Prospect"
3. We do not recommend using buses to get to our hostel, because there are no buses coming straight from airport/train station to Nevsky prospect.
Anyway, if you had already been in Saint-Petersburg or know some Russian, the bus stop is called "20 Nevsky prospect" (bus stops on Nevsky) or Malaya Morskaya Street (bus turns left 100 meters after the hostel).
Retain this address for printing in case you need to ask for directions.

Procedure of getting russian visa consists of following steps:
1. Getting invitation from Russia.
2. Getting visa in home country using invitation.
3. Registering your visa upon arrival in Russia.

1. In our company visa invitation costs EUR35 per person, all documents we send to you and to the russian consulate in 1 working day after getting information about payment + your passport copy. Be sure you have the copy of invitation letter when you go to the consulate as they often clean up their papers and throw away everything (all invitations they get by fax) after it is not asked for 1 day.
After you pay please send back to our e-mail book@norhostel.com scanned copy of payment document and scanned copy of your passport(s).
2. Getting visa costs something, but to our great regret we can't advice how much. Amount depends on quantity of days required for making visa, usually maximum (the cheapest) is 30 days or even more. Please contact Russian consulate in your country for further information. You need to know (from us) that they already got our invitation and have the copy of it yourself before applying for visa.
3. Visa registration is required by russian law for all the foreigners coming to Russia for more than 3 days. Registration is checked by customs officers on departure and by police on the streets. This is the part of old Soviet Union system which still works and we have to register our guests in some formerly "governmental" hotels to avoid risks with police and customer officers on departure (this is just an information for you).
Price of registration is also EUR 35 per person and is paid on arrival.
